In the psychedelic community, it is a widely held belief that the halting of psychedelic research in the 60’s and 70’s was the worst medical censorship of the 21st century.

Now emerging from Nixon-era fear and stigma, psychiatry, mental, behavioral and spiritual health, and policy are converging at a critical meeting point. The mission of EXPANDED Modern Health is focused on using behavioral principles coupled with expanded states of consciousness (though deeply relaxed states, ketamine, and psychedelics as they become legal)‍ ‍in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

A central tenet to this mission is psychedelic education. These curated studies on policy, substance use, depression, anxiety and more will continue to serve as a pulse on cutting edge research and will be updated as studies emerge.
